Josephine Miranda was born to Antonio Martinez and Maria Garzon on Jan. 18, 1937 in Nogales Sonora. She entered Eternal Life on June 9, 2020.
Josephine was a devoted servant of The Lord. She worked as the Parish Secretary, CCD teacher, one of the original member of the Blessed Sacrament Church Choir. She also volunteered at Casa de los Ninos and counseled inmates at the Federal Prison for many years.
She married Ernesto F. Miranda on Nov. 26, 1960.
She is survived by her children, Ernesto, Jose (Melissa) and Esther; grandchildren, Angel (Cesar), Yvonna (Robb), Amsy, Ernesto III (Naomi) and Cassandra; great-grandchildren, Daysie, Desiree, Tony, Cesar, Santos, Lorena, Marc, Emily and Salena; and many Godchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto; parents, Antonio and Maria; brother, Jesus; son-in-law, Charles; and grandson, Lauro.
Services will be held on June 18, 2020 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Mammoth. Due to COVID -19, they will be having a private service.
You may join the family at Valley View Cemetery for the interment at 10 a.m. Please remember social distancing.
