Joseph “Joey” Lopez Jr. 61 was born on August 14, 1951 in Superior, Arizona.
He retired from Asarco Copper Mine as a carpenter after 31 years. He worked for the city bus in Mesa for 10 years as a Safety Trainer Supervisor. He loved to golf and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his wife Olga, sons Tommy (Kristina), Joseph, Mario (Jaclynn). And thirteen grandchildren, David, Andrew, Ivie, Jesse, Sivanna, Sammy, Jasmine, Jordan, Alianna, Adam, Antonio, Caleb, Lauryn and one Great Grand Child Julian and his sister Yolanda Romero.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe & Helen Lopez and Brother Steve Lopez.
Visitation to be held Saturday September 29, 2012, 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Superior, Arizona. Rosary at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
