Jon Anderson Eaves passed away suddenly Friday, March 30, 2012, in Oracle. He was born September 29, 1970 in Tucson, and was a lifelong resident of San Manuel.
Jon leaves behind his wife Christine, his three daughters, Tammy, Lynn and Nicole, who were the light of his life, and Ashley and Jordan, his “adopted” daughter and granddaughter. Jon is also survived by his parents, Darrell and Mili, his two sisters, Tami (Walter) and Kelley (Curley), his in-laws, Teresa and Haj, and Albert and Maria, brothers-in-law, Micheal (Candi) and Andy (Karla), nieces, Amber, Alyssa, Shaina, Victoria, and Kylee, and his godchildren Hailey, Gilbert and Kalya. Jon was a true family man, with many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. While they were not “blood related,” they were loved as if they were.
Jon followed in his father’s footsteps, becoming a hunter education instructor. He was able to teach and pass on his love of hunting and the outdoors to his daughters. Jon worked at CCA in the maintenance department for six years. He recently went to work at Asarco in Hayden as a pipefitter.
Services will be held Thursday, April 5, at Living Word Chapel in Oracle at 11 a.m. Contributions in memory of Jon may be made to the Jon Eaves Memorial Fund (account number 026610535) at Bank of the West in San Manuel.
Jon Boy will always be remembered for his love of family, his generosity, and his love of live. Jon, you leave behind a hole that can not be filled, and we all love you and miss you dearly.
