PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – Join the discussion and help map Arizona’s future on Thursday, Sept. 27, 6-9 p.m. at one of three Central Arizona College locations in Pinal County.

CAC and the Arizona Humanities Council invite the community to be part of a state-wide civil discourse on the upcoming Arizona ballot initiatives.

A panel of experts will start the discussion that will be simulcast from Phoenix to a number of locations across the Grand Canyon State, including CAC’s Signal Peak (Coolidge), Superstition Mountain (Apache Junction) and Aravaipa (Winkelman) campuses.

The three key ballot initiatives up for discussion include Proposition 115: Judicial Selection, Proposition 204: Quality Education and Jobs Initiative and Open Government Initiative (subject to change, if not confirmed for the ballot).

After the statewide event, CAC will conclude the evening with its own discussion hosted by faculty from the social science department.

This event is free and open to the public; however, space is limited and preregistration is required.

To register for the event and to receive room information, please visit ProjectCivilDiscourse.org. For more information, including directions to the campusesr contact Dora Tompkins at 520-494-5223.
