He was born in Tucson and lived in Oracle, San Manuel and California. He worked at Magma Copper Company underground and at Midas Muffler in Tucson.
John was preceded in death by his son, Eric Reves.
Left behind in loving memory are his daughter, Shannan Reves of Tucson; father, Raymond Reves of Tucson; mother, Maggie Pierson (Carl Riggs) of Oracle; sisters, Margaret Sanderson of Oracle Junction, Rosetta (Paul) Tafoya of Oracle, Diana Rodriguez of Bakersfield, CA, and Tara (Greg) Davis of Hattiesburg, MS; brothers, Tony Reves of Oracle and Kent Riggs of Grand Junction, CO; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services for Mr. Reves will be held Saturday, April 11, at 10 a.m. at Living Word Chapel in Oracle. Graveside services will follow at 11:15 a.m. at the Oracle Cemetery. Everyone is asked to gather at the Oracle Community Center.
