Joe P. Santos

  Joe P. Santos, 87, passed due to natural causes on June 13, 2018 in Tucson. He was born to Luis and Victoria Santos of the Santos Ranch on March 19, 1931 in Hayden.

  He is survived by sons, Robert and Jerry; daughter, Vicki (Joe) Valenzuela; grandson, Joey (Liz) Valenzuela; great-granddaughter, Christiana Valenzuela; brothers, Arnold (Lina) of Hayden and Rudy (Lorraine) of Somerton, CA; sisters, Charlotte Lorona of Kearny and Veila Montano of Winkelman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

  Joe graduated from Hayden High School and served in the United States Army. He is a veteran of the Korean war. He worked for Safford Auto Supply until his retirement. He loved gardening, Tejano music, classic trucks, watching sports, old t.v. programs and classic westerns, and, especially, his summers with his grandson.

  Services were held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Safford at 9 a.m. on June 13. Interment  was at Safford Cemetery.
