Joe Ortiz is a good person

In light of all the negative ads being run against Arizona State Senate candidate Joe Ortiz, our family can stay quiet no longer. Our family, the Harlos family, knows Joe Ortiz. He is a family man, he loves his children and he is a devoted husband. He is a loyal friend, he has strong morals and he cares about his community and the people that live in it. He will be a strong state senator and encompasses the conviction it takes to do what is right, not what is easy.

We have watched Joe and his wife Jennifer during the darkest of times as they grieved the loss of their daughter and during the brightest of times when they welcomed two more blessings into this world. They are strong, resilient people and they love and care for others with fierce compassion. Joe Ortiz is godfather to our two children and we are proud of the example he has and will continue to set for them as they too grow into responsible young citizens.

If you are not sure who you might vote for in this coming election, I implore you to follow Joe on Facebook and take him up on his offer to discuss the issues one on one. You simply can’t fake that kind of passion. Joe Ortiz is a great person.

Sincerely,

/s/ David and Laura Harlos
