Joe Mora Moreno

  Joe Mora Moreno of Hayden, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Tucson, Arizona to go home with our Lord, Jesus Christ, at the age of 84 years.

  Joe was born in Hayden, Arizona on Sept. 28, 1934.  

  Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel P. Moreno and Guadalupe Moreno, and siblings, Manuel Mora Moreno, Sarah Moreno Cooney and Patsy Moreno.

  Joe is survived by his loving wife of 45 wonderfully blessed years, Yolanda Cordova Moreno; their 5 children, Lisbee (Robert) Manriquez, Jose Manuel Moreno, Hector Luis (Nannette) Moreno, Jesus Enrique “Kiki” Moreno, Saharina Jennifer Moreno and Priscila Aracely (Julio) Moreno-Flores.

  Joe also leaves behind his 7 grandchildren, his granddaughter, Lily Manriquez, and grandsons, Francisco “Panchito” Moreno, Jacob, Bobby, and Joshua Joseph “JJ” Manriquez, Aviv “Juni” Valenzuela Moreno and Christopher Moreno-Flores.

  Joe will be lovingly remembered by his surviving siblings, brothers Robert (Gloria) Moreno of Tucson, AZ and Fito (Margie) Moreno of Oracle, AZ; and sisters Theresa (Jesus) Martinez of Oracle, AZ, Cecilia (Henry) Quintana of California, Evelyn (Sal) Haro of Sun City, AZ and Luisa (Rafael) Baldenegro of Kearny, AZ.

  Services were held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hayden, Arizona. He was Laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery, Hayden, Arizona.

  Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part. God has you in His keeping. Mi Querido Viejo, I will forever have you in my heart. 

  Funeral arrangements were provided by Griffith Mortuary.
