went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 16, 2014. She was born Jan. 23, 1971 in Kearny to Ken and Norma Reeves Watkins. She grew up with her younger brother, Jay, and her cousin, Sean. The happiest times of her childhood were spent at her Grandad, Avery (Curly) Trainer’s ranch in New Mexico.
She was proud to have worked at Magma and at the San Manuel Fire Department. However, she discovered her true calling in life on July 11, 1988, when she became a mother for the first time. She loved being a mother so much that she didn’t allow it to end with her three sons and one daughter. Any kid who wanted to be in the house, and part of the family, would never be turned away.
She married the love of her life, Paul Monfred, on Nov. 26, 1994. Together, they developed a love that would be the pride and inspiration of their entire family.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother Ella Mae Reeves, grandparents Jay and Ida Richins, grandparents Norman and Margret Reeves, brother-in-law Andrew Monfred; and her best friend, and mother-in-law, Elene Monfred.
She is survived by her three sons, Wade (Adi), AJ and Andy; daughter, Kadi; husband, Paul; brother, Jay (Brandi) Watkins; two nieces, Jessica and Courtney Watkins; uncles, Benny (Joann) and Bobby (Rene) Reeves; granddaughter, Maya Monfred; and 10 cousins.
