The student council also presented Ms. Josie Campos with a plaque to recognize her for her efforts in reorganizing the student library at JFK.  The library had been closed for more than seven years and with the help and direction of Ms. Campos she was able to assist the administration in re-opening the library this year.

The street name change is now official, with Mary Drive becoming Panther Drive.  For those wishing to buy a street sign Panther Drive, the school is selling them for $25. Stop in at the district office to inquire about purchase.
