Jessica Sadie Johnson entered our lives on June 27, 1996 in Tempe, Arizona. On April 19, 2016, she departed this world, joining in heaven her grandparents, Alfred and Mary Ann Thompson, Grandmother Linda Townsend, and Aunt Jamie Thompson. Jessica is survived by parents, Theresa and Darin Johnson, younger brothers Joshua and Jacob Johnson. Also many, many loving family members including grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends considered family.
Jessica touched the lives of so many. She could light up a room, and she lit up our lives with her loving character, quick wit and unique sense of humor. She planned to become a doctor because she was passionate about helping others; she was a natural nurturer. She had so many friends she considered close, from school, the soccer field, track and her workplace. She was an artist, loved to color and wrote deep meaningful poetry from an early age. She excelled throughout her school years, making the national honors society in high school, graduating from Poston Butte High School in 2014, most recently attended Central Arizona College.
A celebration of Jessica’s life was held at the park in Circle Cross Ranch subdivision at 756 W. Empire Blvd, San Tan Valley, AZ 85143, on Thursday, April 28, at 6:08 p.m.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, April 30, at 11a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 20615 E. Ocotillo Rd, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
