Jennie Aguirre Morales

Jennie Aguirre Morales was called to heaven on Dec. 28, 2016, surrounded by her family and friends.

She is survived by husband, Joe R. Morales with whom she had just recently celebrated 50 loving years together; her daughter, Barbara (Martin) Peraza; sons, Joe (Patricia) Morales and Michael (Felicia) Morales; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, Antonio, Giovanni, Danella, Brina and Joseph, two great-granddaughters, Lei Anna and Angelina; parents, Alfredo and Susie Aguirre; brothers and sisters, Olivia (Felix) Morales, Alfredo (Eva) Aguirre Jr., Cecilia (Cornelio) Lopez, Ricky Aguirre, Gene (ToniAnn) Aguirre, Terri (Larry) Bravo; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Jennie will be greatly missed by them all.  She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, camping and rides in the hills. She also enjoyed fun filled nights at the casino. Of all her favorite pastimes the one that brought her the greatest enjoyment and filled her heart was babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.

To all that had the pleasure of knowing her knew her as a loving, gentle, caring and kind person. She always had time and a kind word for anyone who would sit and talk with her. She also served her community for several years as a dispatcher with the Dudleyville Volunteer Fire Department and as one of the Crafty Ladies of Dudleyville.

In short she was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, comadre, and nana who was adored and loved by all who knew her. Though we may all be shedding tears for her now we can all rejoice in knowing we will be reunited with her in heaven.

Services will be held Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rosary at 9:30, Mass at 10 a.m., and Inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery, with reception to follow at Dudleyville Community Center.
