Irene Romero, 66, passed away peacefully after a rough battle with kidney and congestive heart failure on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Northwest Hospital in Tucson, AZ.

She worked at Fresenious Dialysis Center in Mammoth for about 15 years.  She loved all her patients.  She enjoyed her job so much and enjoyed working with the staff and doctors.  She made lots of friends while working there.   She always made the patients feel so welcomed, and always greeted them with a a big beautiful smile and a hug.  That was what everyone noticed first was her smile.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Ronquillo; mother, Anita Grantland; 2 sisters, Lillian Ronquillo, Carol Padilla and one brother Charles Ronquillo.

She is survived by her her husband of 47 years Raymond Romero; her fur baby Mia; son, Gabby (Darcy) Romero; daughter, Tiffany (Sam) Aragon, and son, Miguel (Amie) Romero.  She had 12 grandkids and 3 great-grandkids.  She is also survived by her siblings, John Ronquillo Jr.; sister, Sarah (Ray) Barney, Cindy (Albert) Ortiz, Shelly (Michael) Barriga, Candi Ronquillo, Kim (David) Nolan and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers were: Gabby Romero, Miguel Romero, Dominik Romero,Travis Barney,Michael Sanchez, Angel Sepulveda, Tyler Keil, Damien Romero, Brian Romero and Sam Aragon.

Irene was a devoted wife, mom, nana, tia and friend.  She will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have her in their lives.
