With a unanimous vote, the Kearny Town Council hired Robert Ingulli as the Kearny Police Chief.

Ingulli will be earning $68,000 a year with benefits but will opt out of the town provided medical benefits which will save the Town $6,600 a year. He has been serving as the interim chief since July 23, 2012.

Ingulli is planning on buying a home in Kearny and is looking forward to being part of the community.

Prior to serving as the Interim Police Chief for Kearny, he worked for the Town of Florence as the police chief, a detective for the Tucson Police Department and also worked as a Lieutenant and Operations Commander for the New York City Police Department. He also worked for the Town of Kearny previously as chief in 1999-2000. In total he has 29 years of law enforcement experience and has a master’s degree from Northern Arizona University and his bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York.
