The official groundbreaking for the CVRMC Superior Clinic

The official groundbreaking for the CVRMC Superior Clinic

Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center has a long history of serving the communities of Globe-Miami and the surrounding areas.  The hospital in the Globe-Miami area has been serving the region for 113 years.  As the communities have changed along with the mining industry so have the needs for quality medical care.  It has been decades since the mines owned a hospital for their workers and their families and from those changes evolved the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center

Services of CVRMC: The Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center has a full service hospital with maternity services in Central Heights (community between Miami & Globe) along with regional clinics in Superior, Kearny, Young (Pleasant Valley) and speciality clinics at the hospital for surgical services, orthopedics, women health (OBGYN), family practice, wound clinic and pediatrics.

Superior Clinic: The Superior Clinic was officially opened in 2000 by CVRMC and as the health care needs in the community grew and changed the medical center made a commitment and a promise to build a new clinic in the community.  With the support of the Calo and Katheryn Arnold who sold their land to the hospital in 2009 the hospital began construction of a new and modern health care clinic located on Highway 60.  In 2012 the new clinic opened and in 2015 the clinic had 11,000 patient visits excluding pharmacy and physical therapy appointments.

The Superior Clinic has 13 employees and is open Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am to 4:00pm.  The clinic offers the following services: Complete Family Care, Child Well Visits, Pre-Employment Physicals, Pharmacy Courier Service, Physical Therapy, Lab Draws, General and Advanced Surgery Consultations, Orthopedic Consultations, Minor Procedures, Simple Fracture Care, Simple Laceration Care, Hearing/Vision Tests, Basic Dermatology Care, Preventative Exams, Women’s Exams, Occupational Medicine and CDL Physicals.

Commitment to Quality: Evelyn Vargas, PR Director explains “Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, the CV Superior Clinic and Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center are committed to all of the communities we serve with an unwavering and dedicated spirit of quality, efficiency, and compassion.”
