Hayden-Winkelman School District has purchased Storia Electronic Books which allows students access to thousands of e-books (electronic books) at home. The books can be read on computers, phones, tablets and electronic readers that have internet access. A Storia Presentation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19, at 5 p.m., at the Hayden-Winkelman School District lobby.

Students now have the opportunity to access thousands of e-books for all reading levels. The books include fiction, non-fiction and informational text on math, science and social studies. The fiction books are a variety of popular literature that helps to develop a love of reading and expands imagination and vocabulary. Storia Electronic Books uses photographs, illustrations, charts, maps and other graphics to provide visual information for interpretation and comprehension.

Storia Electronic Books also includes games which supports reading skill and higher level standards.  The program also assesses reading skills and improves comprehension and vocabulary.  Parents can access their child’s progress with easy to read reports.

Come learn how to access a virtual library at home with the click of a button. All Hayden-Winkelman School District students have full access to our Storia Electronic Book library. Come join us in making reading fun and accessible to all students anywhere, anytime.
