The San Pedro Valley Lions Club held an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday for kids 10 years of age and under. Hundreds of eggs were set out for the kids. The plastic eggs contained candy and prizes. One egg had a $50 bill in it. Word has it that the first egg was taken by a gopher who came out of his hole, grabbed the egg and carried it back into the hole. Hope it had a Happy Easter. A much less eventful, but still fun time for kids was held at the Oracle Community Church. The annual event drew children to the church grounds to look for goodies left by the Easter Bunny and his helpers. Go online to http://bit.ly/12d6dse to see more photos from the event in Mammoth.
