The town of Oracle was once known for its hospitable hotels and health resorts. The historical Steward House in Oracle once was an apartment building and at the turn of the century housed eastern visitors seeking the healthy climate and care that Oracle became renowned for.

Once again, the Steward House will become known for health care, but under the name Grace Manor.

A one of a kind home originally built around 1900, Grace Manor Assisted Living and Respite, LLC will be opening in Feb. The house has several private rooms, with a few that are couples ready, and some that are semi-private. There is a unique apartment with all the amenities to provide for your needs.

Grace Manor is a state-licensed 10-bed facility with seven bedrooms, four bathrooms and a large central shower/bathroom for special needs and wheel chair access. The small homey atmosphere will allow for better care and interaction with the staff and other residents.

There is a large kitchen and dining room open at all times for the residents use. The staff at Grace Manor will create menus that encourage health and well being and are prepared with the finest and healthiest ingredients.

Individual menu plans will be prepared for special dietary needs. Three meals daily will be served and snacks are available anytime.

The home has a spacious living room for movies, visiting and leisure activities. A library and computer area is provided.

A large outside porch area will be used for entertainment and fresh air and sunshine. There will be a garden for everyone to enjoy.

The staff at Grace Manor realizes that the quality of life is different for everyone. They will work with everyone’s family, friends and physicians to develop a life plan based on their wants and needs.

“It is important to find out what a resident can and can’t do and get them involved with the community,” said Owner Jodie Gillies.

The staff provides 24-hour care for your loved one that includes daily living, meals/snacks, participating in enjoyable activities, medication assistance and daily housekeeping.

Whether your family member needs living assistance or you need a break from taking care of a loved one, Grace Manor can provide compassionate care with respect and dignity.

Grace Manor is hiring and looking for CNAs and Care Givers.

There will be an open house held at Grace Manor on Feb. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Feb. 9 from 9 to 12 a.m. Come and meet owner Jodie Gillies and tour Grace Manor.

Grace Manor is located at 1205 Hunter Circle, the large building behind the upper Circle K. You can also contact Jodie at 520-896-3131 or gracemanor.jodie@gmail.com.
