Hayden’s Town Manager, Bill Liester resigned from his position during a special meeting held on Monday, Oct. 28. His resignation was announced following the Councils decision not to renew his contract, which was set to expire in January.
The Town Council has established temporary commissions and will vote to make all necessary decisions regarding official town business. Each councilmember was assigned a department for which they are responsible.
At press time the council had not met to determine what their next steps will be to hire a new manager or leave the position open.
