A public meeting was held by the Hayden Town Council on Monday July 30 to discuss the new property tax levy. No one from the public attended the meeting so the Town Council announced what the changes were and commented on how it was a good thing. The tax will be lowered from 7.63 cents per $100 of assessment to 4.57 cents per $100.

After the public hearing, the regular Town Council meeting was held. The Council approved the agreement between the Town of Hayden and B & F Contracting Company for the construction of the waste water treatment plant. The agreement between the Town of Hayden and CNB Excavating was also approved. CNB Excavating will be installing a collection system (sewer pipes) in Hayden.
