Hayden’s Senior Center enjoyed a terrific turnout for their annual Christmas Luncheon. With close to 150 people in attendance everyone had a great time! Thank you to everyone who participated. Special thanks to Annie Hinojos and her staff for thinking of the elderly people and making sure they have a special time during the holidays.

Entertainer Tom Chestnut came from Tucson to sing and interacted with the crowd. As Mr. Chestnut sang and danced around the room it warms your heart to see all the people enjoying, clapping and singing along. Besides a nutritional and good lunch each attendee received a treat bag with goodies in it and then prizes were picked from all the names of people in attendance. Everyone seemed to enjoy the gifts they received as well as the entertainment and lunch.

The Hayden Senior Center celebrates six different holiday events every year, consisting of a Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Celebration, Christmas Party, Valentine’s Day, Easter Party and Mothers/Fathers Day Celebration. If you are interested or have any questions, you may contact the Senior Center at 520-356-7035. Remember you don’t have to be a senior to attend daily lunches and the special events.
