Hayden Police Report

According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates. Items for this report are submitted by the Hayden Police Department and reflect information available at the time of the report.

Oct. 20

A report was received of shots fired along Kennecott Rd. The area was checked with negative results.

A report was received of a verbal altercation between a mother and father. 

Theft was reported on 4th St. in Winkelman.

Agency assist to DPS with a report of a woman lying in the roadway on Hwy 77.

  Agency assist to Kearny Ambulance with a medical emergency. 

A citation was issued for waste of finite.

A citation was issued for speed and no valid drivers license.

Agency assist to Hayden Fire Department with a report of a trailer fire on the 700 block of Cottenwood.

Oct. 21 

A citation was issued for illegal parking near a fire hydrant.

A citation was issued for no license plate lamp and no drivers license in possession.

A citation was issued for waste of finite.

Oct. 23 

Four written warnings were issued for speed.

Three citations were issued for speed.

Oct. 25

Theft was reported on the 699 block of Hayden. 

Citizen assist request at Minit Market.

Two written warnings were issued for speed

  A citation was issued for speed. 

Oct. 26

A written warning was issued for speed. 

Two citations were issued for speed.

Burglary was reported on the 800 block of Hayden Ave.

A citation was issued for a stop sign violation.

Oct. 27

Agency assist to DPS with a single vehicle rollover on Hwy 177. 

A citation was issued for a stop sign violation.

A warning was issued for speed. 

  Three citations were issued for speed. 

Agency assist to Pima County with a possible stolen vehicle. 

A citation was issued for driving with a suspended licence.  

Oct. 28

Assault was reported on Garfield. 

Oct. 29

A warning was issued for speed. 

Two citations were issued for stop sign violations. 

Oct. 30

A citation was issued for speed/improper left hand turn. 

A citation was issued for speed, no drivers license in possession and no proof of insurance. 

A citation was issued for speed. 

Oct. 31

Paul M. Garcia, of Hayden, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He was transported and booked into Gila County Jail.  

Citizen assist with directions for a lost hunting party. 

Victor Quintana, of Hayden was arrested on a warrant. He was cited and released. 

A written warning was issued for speed. 

A citation was issued for speed.

Nov. 2

Two citations were issued for speed. 

A repair order was issued. 

 Nov. 5

A domestic disturbance was investigated on Sunnyslope.

Nov. 6

A citation was issued for speed.

  A written warning was issued for speed.
