Hayden Police Report

According to state law, there are two methods by which police may arrest suspected offenders. The suspect may be physically taken into the department and booked into jail, or the arresting officer may write a citation and release the suspect to appear in court later. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Only criminal citations are listed. All damages are estimates. Items for this report are submitted by the Hayden Police Department and reflect information available at the time of the report.

Apr. 26

Agency assist to Kearny Ambulance regarding a medical emergency in Hayden.

Apr. 27

Report received from Asarco security of unidentified lights somewhere in the area of the Catholic Church. Negative contact on arrival.

A report was taken for disorderly conduct/assault concerning a male subject during an incident occurring Apr. 23 at Asarco. All parties involved are Asarco employees.

A report of a missing person was taken. He later was located.

Report of a possible drunk driver at Winkelman Flats, Minit Market and or Dudleyville. Check of the areas resulted in negative contact.

Suspicious activity reported near the crusher area. Check of the area resulted in negative contact.

Apr. 28

Domestic violence/assault was reported on San Pedro. Victims were airlifted and suspect was booked into Pima County Jail for two counts of aggravated assault and domestic violence. (See related story.)

Apr. 29

A juvenile was referred for possession of marijuana.

May 3

A report of assault was taken on the 500 block of San Pedro.
