The No. 8-ranked Hayden baseball team doubled up Duncan in an 8 – 4 road victory last Tuesday.

Junior Joel Rodriguez starred at the plate in the win, going 4-for-4 with a double and a homerun. Mychal Mariscal tripled to account for one of the Lobos’ 10 hits in the game. Omar Lopez, a junior, had two hits in the game.

Starting pitcher Mario Mariscal, a senior, fanned 17 Duncan batters in a complete-game victory, his fourth of the year.

Up next:  Apr. 12 vs. Ray and Apr. 17 at Superior. Both games are scheduled for 4 p.m.
