Hayden Junior High wresting getting ready for championships

Hayden Jr. High Wrestling Team

  The Hayden Junior High Lobos wrestling team traveled to Mt. Vista School in Oracle for a meet. Teams competing were Hayden, Mt. Vista, Eloy, San Manuel and Miami. Results were unavailable at press time. The Lobos will be wrestling next at the Central Junior High League Championship meet at San Manuel High School on Thursday, Jan. 18, beginning at 3 p.m.

  This year’s wrestling team: Johnny Arbizo, Julian Ahumada, Angel Dominguez, Jarin Cruz, Damien Smith, Julian Gonzales, Roman Sandoval, and Izzy Gallego.

  Coaches are: Bobby Smith, Joe Martinez and Ruperto Gonzales.
