Hayden High School honors students at annual ceremony

Hayden High School students were honored for academic achievement during the Annual Classroom Awards program held last Monday evening.

Awards included the following:

Mr. Jones, Outstanding English Students, Rafael Delgado, Jose Gomez and Kierra Guerrero; Performance Courage Award in Drama, Michael Rabago-Phelan.

Mrs. Martinez, Outstanding Health Students, Adrianna Lopez and Jacob Manriquez; Outstanding Drivers Education Students, Gabriel Mariscal and Austin White; Most Improved in Physical Education, Edward Aguirre; Outstanding in Physical Education, Marcos Gonzalez.

Ms. Zilius, Excellence in English 9th Grade, Angelica Cabrera; Excellence in English, 10th Grade, Gabriel Mariscal; Excellence in English 11th Grade, Aaron D. Lagunas; Excellence in English 12th Grade, Edward Judas Aguirre and Marlisse Perez; Most Improved in Writing, Johnny Silva; Outstanding Achievement 11th Grade, Karina Serrano.

Mr. Hatch, Outstanding World History Student, Kierra Guerrero; Outstanding U.S. History Student, Francisco Bojorquez; Outstanding U.S. Government Student, Alexis Felix; Outstanding Economics Student, Danielle Patton; JSA Participation, Kiani Kme, Chris Gomez, Ashley Cruz.

Ms. Umstead, Excellence in Algebra I, Kierra Guerrero and Jose Gomez; Excellence in Geometry, Adrianna Lopez, Angelica Cabera, Guage Neal and Amber Sharp; Excellence in Algebra II, Jacob Manriquez, Aaron Lagunas and Melissa Islava; Excellence in Pre-Calculus, Lainey Lopez, Edward Aguirre and Marlisse Perez; Excellence in Calculus, Melinda Marinez and Francisco Bojorquez.
