Hambly announces honor roll, students of the week

Leonor Hambly K-8 School has announced its Students of the Week for the weeks of Jan. 8, 2015 and Jan. 15, 2015, Honor Roll for Quarter # 2, and their First Semester Honor Roll.

Students of the week for Jan. 8, 2015 are: Carlos Estrada (kindergarten), Julius Pinkard (first), Raymond Sanchez (second), Johnny Arbizo (third), Emilio Rivera(fourth), Hannah Bonner (fifth), Sarrah Perez (sixth), Diego Garcia (seventh) and Tino Barragan (eighth).

Students of the week for Jan. 15, 2015 are: Alejandro Waddell (kindergarten), Erik Romero (first),Junior Contreras (second), Claire Chiquete (third), Rovyn VanCleave (fourth), Pablo Torres (fifth), Marcos Gaona (sixth), Richie Delgado (seventh) and Christiana Carmelo (eighth).

Students on the Honor Roll for Quarter # 2 are: 8th graders Tino Barrigan, Robert Manriquez and with straight A’s Angelita Casillas, Robert Casillas and Kayla Islava; 7th graders Pablo Acuna, Malachi Carmelo, Clarissa Gonzalez and Symone Placencio; 6th graders Devina Estrada, Manny Guillen, Sarrah Perez and Lyana Romero.

Continuing the list are 5th graders A.J. Barragan, Mia Barragan, Miranda Gomez, Jennifer Gregorich, Aaron Lopez, Roman Mariscal, Aaron Peed, and with straight A’s Greace Ramirez Corona and Aliyana Gonzales; 4th graders Jasmine DeLosReyes, Kahlea Faucette, Alejandro Lorona, Yliana Montijo, Loreno Olmedo, Damien Smith, Alexander Taylor, and with straight A’s Karina Inzunza, Jeremy Aguirre, and Brandon Garner; 3rd graders Christopher Casilla, Ismael Gallego, Jesus Garcia and Alonzo Sims; 2nd graders Yarasette Alderete, Renee Arnal, Junior Contreras,, Alexa Lorona, Jerry Miller, Makayla Rivera, Raymond Sanchez, and with straight A’s Paul-Michael Gaither, Sienna Gonzales Joshua Manriquez and Dallas Mariscal; 1st graders Manuel Aguirre, Rayanna Amperano,Julian Mariscal, Aden Ochoa, Emilia Rivera, Erik Romero, Levi Scroggins, and with straight A’s Abrianna Torrez, Kyleigh Adkins, Tyler Garner, Mario Hong and Agustin Lorona; and for Kindergarten, Ryan Garner.

The students who make up the 2014-2015 First Semester Honor Roll are: 8th graders Tino Barrigan, Robert Manriquez, Kirsten Hise, and with straight A’s Angelita Casillas, Robert Casillas and Kayla Islava; 7th graders Pablo Acuna, Clarissa Gonzalez, Javier Lopez, and Symone Placencio; 6th graders Devina Estrada, Manny Guillen, Sarrah Perez, Lyana Romero, and Marissa Barrigan; 5th graders Mia Barragan, Hannah Bonner, Miranda Gomez, , Aaron Lopez, Roman Mariscal, Aaron Peed, and straight A students Greace Ramirez Corona and Aliyana Gonzales.
