Sign in for the best little tournament in eastern Pinal County is this Saturday at 7 am with tee off for the four person scramble set for 8 am at SaddleBrooke Ranch West, mile post 93, on Highway 77, north of Oracle Junction, according to John Wahlmeier, Knights of Columbus Charity Tournament director.

“We’ll be offering two great prizes for a hole in one this year.  One is a $10,000 prize, the other is a golf cart,”  Wahlmeier said.

State Farm agent Aaron Franco of Catalina is sponsoring the cash prize and Golf Cars of Arizona, also of Catalina, is offering the golf cart.

Contact Wahlmeier at jmfaalias@gmail.com or call (520) 610-1151.

The cost is $75 and includes lunch and a golf cart.  Besides two top winners, the Knights’ tournament always features an unpredictable prize.  In the past is has been for the absolute worst score, or the exact middle score.

“No one knows who it will be, but it is possible for every team to get one of our top flight prizes,” Wahlmeier said.

Prizes also will be awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt, most accurate drive along with many raffle prizes.
