Glenda Wills gracefully passed from this life on Sept. 2, 2016.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bob Wills; children, Kathy (Bobby Sr.) Blake and Jerry (Sally) Wills; grandsons, Bobby (Marlena) Blake Jr., Clay (Amy) Wills and Travis (Mindy) Wills; great-grandchildren, Kyle (Hanna), Kole, Shea, Cutter, Dakota, Waylon and Uriah; great-great-grandson, Cinch Glenn; brother, Michael (Jan) Shoemaker; and many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. She also leaves behind her friends and beloved church family. Glenda’s parents and sister preceded her in death.

After suffering a stroke in August 2016, Glenda was thought to have a chance of a good recovery. However, she grew weaker as pneumonia and other complications developed. She was blessed to have wonderful medical care.

Family and friends were at her side when she slipped away from us to go to her Lord Jesus Christ, who she loved for over 70 years. Though our hearts are broken for the loss of her here on this earth, our hearts rejoice for her sake. We will miss her and look forward to the day when we see her again in the presence of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Glenda, a lovely person and generous spirit, lived her life full of love and kindness to all in her life. We will continue to love her and cherish memories.

A memorial service was held at San Pedro Valley Baptist Church, Dudleyville, AZ; and a graveside service was held at Oracle Cemetery, Oracle, on Sept. 10, 2016.
