Give the new mayor a chance

Does anyone know how long ago and how many mayors ago the financial problems of Mammoth started?

Why are people running down the new mayor? He didn’t cause these problems; he inherited them from the previous mayor or mayors. Who knows for sure how far back this started?

Mr. Jones has been in office 2 1/2 to 3 months. I’m sure it took a whole lot longer than that to make this mess.

I don’t believe Mr. Jones is in this for personal gain. I think he really wants to make a positive difference in the management of the Town of Mammoth.

Mr. Mayor, don’t even give these negative people a second thought. There are people here in Mammoth that are behind you 100 percent.

We are more than willing to give you a chance to make a positive difference in Mammoth.

Editor’s note: Mr. Romo’s letter was also signed by 21 other citizens, but he requested the letter be published with only his name.
