Phoenix- For families looking for the perfect gift, why not get an Annual Pass to Arizona’s State Parks? Beginning in December 2014, annual passes are now available for purchase online at AZStateParks.com. Also new for the coming year, Arizona State Parks will be on the 2015 Income Tax Return Form 140.

Buying an Arizona State Parks annual pass is an economical idea that gives families opportunities and get in the outdoors and create family memories together. Many State Parks are just hours from urban areas and offer diverse and fascinating ecosystems for recreating, or explore the history of Arizona as told in stories of the lives of many settlers who came here to find their fortunes before Arizona was a state.

The Arizona State Parks Standard Annual Pass is only $75 for the entire year. This pass allows day entrance for up to four adults. It includes all the Parks except weekends and holidays at the western Arizona coast parks along the Colorado River. A Premium Annual Pass is $200 and allows day entrance for up to four adults. It is good at all the Parks including weekends and holidays at western Arizona coast parks along the Colorado River.

In the coming year, taxpayers are able to make a voluntary, tax-deductible contribution to Arizona State Parks from a tax refund. The State of Arizona allows taxpayers to make a contribution to many causes that they feel are the most important and now Arizona State Parks will be among the many choices.

This is the first year the Arizona State Parks department has been offered on individual tax forms for the tax donation program. Make a difference to help the agency that does not receive any tax funds at this time. This fund will help promote Arizona’s State Parks, historic sites, and trails. Find out more and keep updated on how these specific funds are allocated throughout the year on Arizona State Parks’ website at AZStateParks.com/checkout.

Order an Arizona State Parks Annual Pass at AZStateParks.com, by mail (1300 W. Washington St, Phoenix, AZ 85007), purchase one at any of the State Parks, or by calling (602) 542-4174. Purchase Kartchner Caverns cave tour gift certificates by calling (520) 586-2283.
