Girl Scouts November project success benefits many

Girl Scouts from the Copper Basin area gathered food for the Knights of Columbus for their November service project. (Submitted photo)

For their November project, Girl Scout Troop #1716 Copper Basin Unit collected non-perishable food cans. The items were donated to the Hayden-Kearny Knights of Columbus Food Bank.

Accepting the donation from the Knights of Columbus were Nannette Yescas, Linda Smith and Wanda Lundy.

Girl Scouts participating were Olivia Fernandez, Josselyn Lechuga, Veronica Baez, Brett Scaggs, Julianna Granillo, Brooklyn Lechuga, Abrianna Torrez, Mya Carder, Elaina Figueroa, Bella Wernett, Trysten Ortiz, Kassidy Ballejos, Izzy Kimmel, Jessica Garcia, Marissa Baez, Shelby Anderson, Madison Kenney and Ava Richards.
