Girl Scout Troop 1716 members earn their community service patch

Kearny – Girl Scout Troop 1716 Copper Basin Unit recently participated in the Greater Kearny Clean-Up Day. By participating in the clean-up, the girls earned their community service patch.

The girls who earned the community service patch are Ava Richards, Bella Wernett, Veronica Baez, Marissa Baez, Kassidy Ballejos, Shelby Anderson and Emma Baker.

Participating also were the Girl Scout leaders Gloria Beltran, Jody Swingle and Elena Baker. Also helping with the clean-up were parents Dr. Brad Richards and Angela Wernett.
