Girl Scout Bridging ceremony held for three young Copper Basin ladies

Azalya Jimenez, Shelby Anderson and Izzy Kimmel bridge from Girl Scout Juniors to Cadettes during the July 11 Bridging Ceremony.

Kearny – On Thurs., July 11, Girl Scout Troop 1716 held its bridging ceremony for the Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors.

The program started with the flag ceremony. Shelby Anderson served as flag carrier, while Azalya Jiminez and Izzy Kimmel acted as guards. After the flag ceremony, all the Girl Scouts were presented with a certificate and flag patch for participating in a flag ceremony during the meetings.

Bridging from Girl Scout Daisies to Brownies were Kassidy Ballejos, Faith Bracamonte and Elaina Figueroa. Not present was Claire Chiquete.

Girl Scout Brownie bridging to Junior was Emma Baker. Not present were Marissa Baez and Mikenna Seller.

Shelby Anderson, Izzy Kimmel and Azalya Jiminez, Girl Scout Juniors, bridged over to Cadettes during a candle ceremony.

After the bridging ceremony, badges, fun patches, certificates and Girl Scout Cookie incentive gifts were passed out.

Girl Scouts earning their ‘End of the Year Party’ patch were Shelby Anderson, Azalya Jiminez, Izzy Kimmel, Kassidy Ballejos, Faith Bracamonte, Elaine Figueroa, Olivia Fernandez, Emma Baker and Bella Wernett.

After the Friendship Circle, a potluck dinner was enjoyed by all.
