Gerald H. Crandall, 91, passed away at Tucson Northwest Medical Center on Feb. 5, 2016.  Jerry was born to Myron Hamilton and Elizabeth (Moody) Crandall on Oct. 3, 1924 in Gilbert, AZ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his dear wife, Madonna Bingham Crandall, and four brothers.  He is survived by his three children, son, Douglas (Peggy) Smith and daughters, Donetta Smith and Linda Crandall Cameron.  Grandpa was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren with a great-grandson due next month, and one great-great-grandson. His brother Joe (Audrey) Crandall also survives him.

Tucson became Grandma and Grandpa’s home in 1998. Grandpa was a kind, loyal, happy, loving giant of a man. His positive personality will be deeply missed, but we know that we will be reunited again.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Tucson West Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3530 W. Magee Rd.  Services will begin at 11 a.m.  Interment to follow at The Binghampton Cemetery.
