The Gila Pueblo Campus of Gila Community College just wrapped up its annual Holiday Food Drive. Their goal was to collect 1,000 items in five weeks; the students, faculty and staff more than met this goal by donating 2,890 items to the local food bank!

There was a little departmental competition that was won by the Biology Department who was rewarded with a luncheon. Food for the luncheon was donated by Fry’s, Vonnie’s Pizza, Little Ceasar’s, Cobre Valley Institute of Technology (CVIT), and Pinal Mountain Foundation for Higher Education. APS donated the collection boxes.
