Friends for Life Pet of the Week Newton

Newton came from the Yuma Humane Society, where he was originally found as a stray. It is believed this “long and low” guy is around a year old. He’s living in a foster home with a volunteer of Friends for Life Animal Rescue. His foster family says he is so much fun to have around! He’s quite a character! He’s even a good enough sport to let volunteers dress him up for his first photo session upon arriving at the downtown Gilbert shelter! Unfortunately Newton’s first impression of dog’s he doesn’t know is that they’re not good so … he isn’t very polite. Because of this, his ideal home would be one where he’s the only canine companion. He will keep you busy and laughing though, so he would be all the dog you’ll need! Newton has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. Because he is lucky enough to reside with a foster family, he is at the shelter for adoption only on Saturdays.

Come down on Saturday to meet him or if you’d like to make an appointment to visit with him you may do so by e-mailing Friends for Life at FFLdogs@azfriends.org.
