Free Shotgun Shooting Event for Women Feb. 8

Tucson- The Arizona Game and Fish Department; Pima County Natural Resources, Parks & Recreation; the Arizona State Rifle & Pistol Association, and NRA Sports will host an introduction to shooting clays for women, a free outreach event, 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Pima County Southeast Clay Target Center, 11295 S.  Harrison Road.

The event is being held to provide women with safe, professional instruction in shotgun shooting. Shotguns, ammo, eye/ear protection and targets will be provided at no charge for the event.

A minimum of 20 participants are needed, and registration is limited to 30 total.  Pre-registration is required; contact Mike Rogers: Desertroses@azgfd.gov or 602-909-7817. More dates can be added as needed.
