Freddie C. “Guero” Denogean

  Freddie C. “Guero” Denogean, age 72 of Superior, Arizona, left his life to meet our lord  on Thursday, June 23, 2016. He was born in Superior on Nov. 30, 1943 to Maria and Fili Denogean.

  Freddie was loved by all and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fili and Maria Denogean; brother, David Denogean; brother in law, Billy Preciado; nephews, Tommy Jon and Coty.

  He left behind his wife of 54 years Minnie; children, Armida “China”, Dico (Valerie), and Anthony Denogean (Angela Villaverde); 7 grandchildren, Kira, Stevie, Raymond, Brandon, Brittney, Brianna and AJ; 7 great-grandchildren, Gabe, Adrian, Raymond, Gunner, Kaylee, Mario, and Angel; brothers and sisters, Miguel (Cathi) Denogean, Ramon Denogean, Angie Denogean, Margie (Bobby) Real, Norma (Eddie) Campillo and Chella Preciado; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

  Freddie worked as a miner for 22 years with Magma Copper Co. and Pinto Valley, and also as a Job Developer for the State of Arizona (REPAC,WIA) for 16 years.

  He loved his home of Superior and was always involved in his community and his Church. He loved music, singing, playing his guitar, cooking for everyone, but his most treasured moments were spent following his grandchildren and family members in their activities and with his family, extended family, and friends. He was known as Tata Guero to all.

  Services for Freddie will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, with the Celebration of Life from 9-10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Superior;  Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the St. Mary Center, Superior.
