Fred C. Ruiz Jr., 56, of Queen Creek, AZ, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 21, 2016.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather to his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Janet; their children, Casey, Nick, Alex, Janelle, Jarred, Joell; daughter-in-law, Ashley Ruiz; and grandchildren, Alexis and Brady.
Fred taught math at Mountain View High School in Mesa. He loved teaching and loved his students very much. He will be missed.
There was a viewing on Thursday, Jan. 28, at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home. A memorial service was held on Friday, Jan. 29, at Calvary Chapel of Queen Creek. Following the service, Fred was laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery, 7900 E. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207.
Fred devoted much of his time to serving at Calvary Chapel of Queen Creek Food Bank and would appreciate donations if possible; he loved serving others.
