Frank O. Lopez Jr. “Pancho” passed away peacefully at home at the age of 67 on April 23, 2020.

Pancho was born Feb. 21, 1953 in Superior, AZ where he remained a lifelong resident.  He graduated from Superior High School in 1971 and excelled in both academics and athletics.  His track and field days saw records not broken for over 30 years.

Pancho worked for the mine and in later years was more widely known as the town handyman.  His work around Superior can be seen in homes and landmarks as well.

He was a friend to all and ALWAYS there if you needed him.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Roy Lopez Sr.; mother, Rosemary Otero Lopez; and father, Frank C. Lopez Sr.

Pancho is survived by his partner of many years, Rita Martinez; daughter, Andi Kaplan (Kevin); son, Frank H. Lopez III; and daughter, Audrey Lopez.  He also leaves behind sisters and brothers, Cynthia Thomas (Joseph), Andy Lopez (Cheryl), Gerri Richards (John) and Gino Lopez (Tina).  He had 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, for whom he lived and adored.

Due to recent COVID-19 restrictions, services will be held at a later date to be determined.
