The K-3rd grade class learns about bugs.

On June 12, Jeb Earl the Magician and Scientist made a visit to the Kearny Public Library as part of the Summer Reading Program’s Science and Technology Theme. Doing magic while incorporating science experiments kept the kids entertained while learning at the same time.

This year’s theme is Science and Technology so everything is geared toward that goal. The program concludes June 26 for children. The library will have a special reading program for adults through Aug. 28 and a program for teens is offered every other Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. For more information, please call the library at 363-5861.
