Five Bearcats named to All-State Team

Five Ray Bearcats’ football players were named to the Arizona Republic’s All-State team, led by first- team senior kickoff returner, Dominic Bravo.

Senior defensive lineman Richard Bickley and junior punter Jacob Pace were named to the second team. Senior linebacker Julio Noriega and junior quarterback Destry Yocum were named honorable mention.

The ‘Cats advanced to the quarterfinals of the state playoffs before losing to Gilbert Christian. They finished with a record of 8 – 2.
