First win of the season for MVS Cougars

  The Mountain Vista Cougars have been struggling this year but are improving each game. The Cougars came away with their first victory with a thrilling win 30 to 28 over visiting San Carlos Their record is now 1 win and 3 losses. They lost earlier this season to Eloy, Globe and Hayden.

  The team members are:  Charles Croci, Devlin Escalante, Allen Fehr, Robert Fields, Isaiah Gamez, Riley Gilles, Alex Goad, Julio Gonzalez, Joseph Gutierrez, Colton Henderson, Colton Hughey, Noah Madrid, Rene Martinez, Jeramhy Orso, Sebastain Pinedo, Nick Plank, Bricin Ramos, Bixol Ramos, Miles Smith, Ivan Sutherland, Josh Tafoya, Justin Tafoya, Zander Taylor, Andrew Waddell & Augie Westrope.

  Head Coach is James Goad; Assistant Coach is Tony Lumm; the Coaches’ Helpers are Erryn Fields and Pablo Robles.

The Mountain Vista Cheer Squad has been cheering on the Cougar football team. The members of this year’s cheer leaders are: Alicia Denogean, Brianna Castellanos, Cuvia Cabrera, Saige Ortiz, Martina Garcia and Sophia Maestas. The Coach is Danielle Maestas. Go Cougars!
