Fifteen inducted into San Manuel NJHS

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) induction ceremony was held Thursday evening at the San Manuel High School auditorium. The NJHS recognizes outstanding students that have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship.

This year’s inductees were:

Eighth Graders: Zachary Albert, Brittney Anaya, Avery Downing, Broc Traweek.

Seventh Graders: Alejandro Camacho, Angel Cano, Demetria Carter, Cheryl Chavez, Max Fisher, Marcella Franco, Alicia Guerrero, Emily Large, Rebekah Messing, Will Newman, Emily Riekofski.

This year’s officers are Frank Renteria – President; Brianna Madrid – Vice President; Annette Estrada – Secretary; Jade Barcelo-Willard – Treasurer.

The current members of the National Junior Honor Society are: Kyndra Barney, Mariah Dockum, Annette Estrada, Michael Garcia, Daniel Guerrero, Rhiannon Mornweg-Cole, Eneida Quintero and Robert Sweeney.
