The Family Career Community Leaders of America students at Superior High School are hosting their annual Senior Prom on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
This event is held each year to provide a prom-like celebration for local senior citizens. This type of event has become very common throughout America as today’s generation of students have learned that many from the World War II generation were unable to attend their high school proms. It is not uncommon to find SHS students escorting their grandparents to the event.
The SHS FCCLA prepares an evening of food, dancing and Christmas cheer for Superior Senior adults. This year the theme for the event is “A Glamorous Christmas in Hollywood.”
The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend. The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the Superior Junior-Senior High Multipurpose Room. The DECA group will be taking pictures during the event.
