Family First PCC: New Year, New Hours, New Classes

Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailby feather

It’s a New Year! , and we want to tell you all about the new things that are happening at Family First Pregnancy Care Center and Family Diaper Bank. Beginning in February we will be open on Wednesday by apt. only and on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays and will be taking appointments from 9am-4pm. Please call to schedule your appointment as we tend to fill up at certain times of the day.

Something else new for Family First is our Fathers’ workshops.  Thursday nights will be dedicated to the Fathers in our community.  We will be hosting a Fathers’ workshop on Thursday nights at 4:30 p.m. All Fathers are welcome to join us for a time of learning about issues that pertain to men in particular. Our first workshop will be about how to create a Home of honor. These classes will be taught by a man, and will be a great time to connect with other men and a safe environment to share your experiences with each other.

In February, we will be collecting diapers for our annual diaper drive. Beginning February 1st there will be a box at Norms IGA where you can leave diapers.  Our families earn diapers by attending our Earn While You Learn classes and they receive Mommy Money to shop in our boutique for diapers and other supplies. Your support is greatly appreciated!!

We are also in desperate need of volunteers. Our volunteers help us run smoothly by providing office help, playing with children, stocking our boutique and assisting director with center needs. If you would like to know more about us and how you can help please call us at 520-664-5795.

The center is located at 508 Thorne Ave., Winkelman. Visit them online here.
