It was an egg-stra special day for some local tots.

On Wednesday, March 25, the Family First Pregnancy Care Center in Oracle celebrated Easter early with families from Winkelman and the Tri-Community. The children enjoyed making paper butterflies, an Easter egg hunt, making and wearing paper plate Easter bonnets and hats. They also had story time where they were read “The Story of Easter” and got to eat cupcakes and cookies.

Family First has a Story Time on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in Oracle. Mothers, fathers, infants and toddlers are always welcome to attend. Family First is located at 1575 W. American Ave.

Family First Pregnancy Care Center and Family Diaper Bank is a non-profit organization that helps mothers, youth and families. They provide services in Pima, Gila and Pinal counties. Some of the services they provide are: free pregnancy testing; education on adoption, abortion and parenting; information on pre-natal care, child development, sexual integrity and life skills; the Fatherhood Program; and the Family Diaper Bank which provides diapers for babies, the disabled and the elderly.
