Evert “Sandy” Sly, 73 years old, born June 2, 1941 passed away on March 1, 2015. Kristine Greenler-Baker was with him as he left.
Originally from Michigan, Evert served six years in the Marine Corps after high school. He lived in Arizona about 29 years, and, was a local business owner and served on the Mammoth Town Council. He enjoyed the Mammoth area, very much.
He is survived by a former spouse and their five children, as well as other family and friends, most of whom live in Michigan. He is also survived by a very special friend, Shirley “Jo” Raymond of Santa Clarita, CA, whom he knew childhood and was reunited with in his later years. He is preceded in death by a second wife, by which he had two children.
He chose to be cremated and have his ashes scattered from the California coast.
