Evelyn Noble

Evelyn Noble, 92, of Kearny, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014 at Hospice Family Care in Tucson. Born on Dec. 6, 1921 in Carlisle, Arkansas to Elvis and Sena Purdue.

She proudly served in the Army for 13 years. She was honored by the 153 Aerial Port Squadron with a lavender plant at her funeral.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother, father and her son, Joey. She is survived by her brother, Charles Purdue.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 7 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Kearny., with interment at the Kearny Cemetery.
